With 54 days left in Bill Schuette's tenure as Attorney General, Dana Nessel will be taking over the Nassar investigation.
That according to Andrea Bitely, spokeswoman for the AG's office.
She said that the intent is to work with the incoming Attorney General and her transition team to make sure that she is fully apprised of the status of the investigation.
Schuette launched the investigation back in January amid Nassar's sentencing hearings in Ingham and Eaton counties.
