Attacker uses box cutter to stab man found at his ex's house in Jackson

The Jackson County Sheriff's office is reporting a stabbing that happened Wednesday around 4 p.m.

Sheriff Steve Rand received multiple calls on an alleged stabbing in Jackson and Summit Township. Police checked it out and discovered that there was indeed an incident in Summit Township on Ranch Boulevard.

A 22-year-old man had gone to his ex-girlfriend's house in Summit Township and found another man there.

The ex-boyfriend attacked the man with a weapon that police believe was a knife box cutter.

The victim was taken to Henry Ford Allegiance hospital for serious injuries. The 22-year-old suspect had minor injuries. He was arrested for felonious assault.
