AT&T* Michigan Pioneers today will present 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to school administrators from Cascades Elementary. Teachers and educators will deliver the backpacks to students in need within the district.

The packs will include folders, paper, pencils and other essential school supplies. AT&T Pioneers plan to distribute more than 1,500 backpacks across Michigan this fall.

“AT&T Michigan Pioneers are active company employees and retirees who volunteer their personal time to enhance the communities where they work and live,” said David Lewis, president of AT&T Michigan. “And year in year out, they do an amazing job of leading this ‘Tools for Learning’ campaign by raising money and buying supplies to support thousands of students heading back to school through the state.”
