LANSING, Mich. — Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Michigan Chapter (ABC/GMC), announces new Board of Directors leadership! Board members set an organization’s strategic direction by establishing policies and goals to guide the chief executive and other leadership in accordance with the bylaws of the organization.
The votes are in and a majority has selected Glenn Hengesbach (Albin Hengesbach Carpentry) to fill the term of Doug Shafer (Shafer Redi-Mix) 2021. Also, voted in was Kevin Wray (Valley Electrical Contractors) to fill the term of Mike Parsons (Valley Electrical Contractors) 2022. ABC, Greater Michigan Chapter thanks Shafer and Parsons for their service and for the impact that they have had while serving on the board. Best of luck to Hengesbach and Wray, ABC/GMC is looking forward to their time on the board and the impression they will make.
ABC/GMC’s Board of directors is an elected committee functioning in an organization at the top level. It comprises appointed members overseeing activities of the organization. Their responsibilities are mainly concerned with exercising power to determine various policies of the company or organization. The tenure of the members is minimum three years, which is subject to renewal after consecutive terms.
