A Dimondale man accused of setting a car on fire in Potterville is a firefighter.
The Eaton County undersheriff confirms to FOX 47 that Kyle Demars served as a volunteer firefighter with the Potterville Fire Department.
Deputies say he set a fire underneath a vehicle in the parking lot of the Masonic Temple in Potterville on Monday.
Demars is charged with fourth-degree arson.
We reached out to the Potterville Fire Department to see if Demars is still a volunteer there but we haven't heard back from them as of Friday evening.
