A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a teenager in Jackson over the summer.
Hassan Moore is facing open murder and weapons charges for the death of Morris McBride. Police say Moore was already in jail on a different charge at the time of his arrest.
Mcbride was gunned down in the courtyard of Reed Manor Apartments in the early morning hours of July 19th. The 18-year-old suffered a single gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moore is due back in court on October 25th.
