We have an update on a couple robberies we've been tracking for you.
This is the man police say held up a couple of gas stations last week in Jackson County.
18-year-old Dawson Arnett was arrested Friday afternoon. He's currently being held in the Jackson County jail.
Police say he tried to rob the Marathon gas station on Page Avenue in Leoni Township on Thursday, January 12th. When the cashier didn't give up the money, Arnett took off.
About a half hour later, investigators say he held up a party store in the village of Brooklyn. He was arrested outside his Liberty Township home the next day.
Shortly after, police found the weapon used in the robberies. We'll let you know when Arnett is arraigned.
