A search is underway for the suspect who robbed the front desk of the Motel 6 in Delta Township this morning.
It happened just before 8 a.m. at the Motel 6 located at 7326 W. Saginaw Highway.
Lieutenant Mark Wriggelsworth of the Eaton County Delta Sub-Station says a man armed with a gun held up the front desk. An investigation is underway to determine exactly what the suspect got away with.
No one at the Motel 6 was hurt.
Eaton County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene within minutes and set up a perimeter but the suspect got away.
He is described as a black male with light skin. He was wearing jeans, and a dark colored hoodie, with a white scarf over his face.
The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who was in the area who possibly saw something suspicious or a person matching that description, to call the Sheriff's office at (517) 323-8480.
