A man was sentenced on Wednesday for armed robbery in Jackson County.
Marlon Stephens, 45, was found guilty by a jury in September on one count of Armed Robbery.
The robbery happened on November 13, 2017 on the 100 block of McDevitt Ave. in Jackson.
An investigation discovered that the clerk was forced to open the cash register and took the contents before leaving the store.
Stephens was later found in a vehicle that was recognized by the investigating Detective.
He was sentenced on Wednesday to 25-50 years in jail.
