LANSING, Mich. — Neighbors at the Willowood Apartments in Lansing came home on Tuesday to find pink notices on their front doors.

It came from Mayor Schor's code enforcement office.

Fox 47 called on the notices and was told that no one was being evicted and that the notice was just to inform the residents that the owner of the property was not in compliance.

"This is ridiculous," resident Josie Adams said. "I know the place was falling apart but apparently the owner don't care. It's obvious because we're getting tagged."

A compliance inspection must be scheduled and registration and inspection fees must be paid within 30 days of this notice by the owner.
