The Jackson County man who's trying to recall Sheriff Steve Rand will give it another try on Monday.
Dean Schuette will submit his fourth recall petition to the State Board of Canvassers.
He was denied the previous three times because of issues with the petition language.
Many have called for Rand to step down ever since he was heard making racist and sexist comments on audio recordings.
In Michigan, a sheriff can only be ousted by governor's order or by a recall.
