The Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation will host its annual Lights of Love ceremony on Wednesday, December 5, at 6 p.m. in the hospital lobby. The twinkling Lights of Love that decorate the tall evergreens at the hospital’s entrance each December and January are lit in honor or memory of special people.

The Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation invites community members to sponsor a light to honor or remember a friend or loved one. In doing so, sponsors will help Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Services, the only not-for-profit hospice in Jackson, provide important end-of-life care and support to community members with life limiting conditions and their families.

The opportunities to honor or remember a loved one through a tax-deductible gift to Lights of Love include:

Bright Lights ($100 or more)

Sponsor’s name and sponsor’s loved one’s name will be included on the Lights of Love scroll and on the Bright Lights poster displayed in the hospital lobby.

Shining Lights ($10 to $99)

Sponsor’s name and sponsor’s loved one’s name will be included on the Lights of Love scroll displayed in the Hospital lobby.

General Donation (any amount welcome)

Sponsor’s name will be included on the Lights of Love scroll displayed in the hospital lobby.

Please note, in order for a loved one’s name to be included in the Lights of Love scroll for the December 5 lighting, the Foundation must receive gifts by Friday, November 16. Donations will be gratefully accepted through January 2019, and names will be added to the scrolls through that time. For more information, call (517) 205-7457.
