LANSING, Mich. — The American Red Cross is hoping a perk will get people to roll up their sleeves and give blood.
Currently, the American Red Cross says it has less than a three-day supply of most blood types available and less than a two-day supply of type O blood.
The American Red Cross is offering $5 Amazon gift cards to those who donate blood through Thursday, Aug. 29, as the organization faces a continuing shortage.
