Toddler found safe after chase, crash in Detroit

WDIV in Detroit is reporting that the missing two-year-old has been secured and is safe after a police pursuit that ended in a crash in Detroit. Multiple officers from the Michigan State Police and the City of Detroit are at the scene where the crash happened.

Detroit police are looking for a two-year old girl taken forcefully this morning from a home in Detroit.

An AMBER ALERT has been issued for Sondra Renee. Police say she was snatched from a home in the 21000 block of Karl Street on Detroit's west side. Police are looking for Grady Barrett, age 42. Police say he is armed with a weapon and driving a black 2009 GMC pickup with license plate: # DAS 8417 The truck is hauling a trailer with G&G landscaping on the side. License Plate on trailer: D476667.

According to Detroit media reports, Barrett is Sondra's mother's boyfriend. He is not the biological parent. He is described as a black man, bald with a beard and mustache. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 278 pounds. Sondra has brown eyes, black hair and weighs 35 pounds.
