Tuesday morning, the Sparrow Professional Building was put into lockdown while officers searched for a suspect.
The suspect, a man, was involved in an alleged armed robbery of a citizen. Officers were given his description and information on the car that he was in.
This took place at about 8 a.m. in the area of Prospect and Holmes in Lansing.
Within a few minutes, officers located the vehicle at Pennsylvania and Kalamazoo and attempted a traffic stop - that's when the suspect ran.
Officers chased him on foot and noticed that he ran into the Sparrow building.
He was later arrested without incident near Allen St. and Kalamazoo St. and the lockdown was lifted.
