MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Ronan Hall at Central Michigan University was evacuated while police investigated a bomb threat on Thursday.
CMU announced on Twitter that they had received the threat by phone call in Ronan Hall, they then informed police.
Police responded and took necessary measures to secure the building, which included evacuating it.
This happened about 12:42 p.m.
The threat was called off about 1 p.m. and everyone was able to return to the building.
Central Michigan Police say that the investigation determined that the threat was made from a hospital facility in another state and was not credible.
