LANSING, Mich. — A Lansing man had to be taken to the hospital Thursday night after he was hit by a car.
The Lansing Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Cedar and Paris around 8 p.m. for a report of a man in a wheelchair being hit by a car.
Lansing police tell FOX 47 News the man was leaving the liquor store and rode out in the middle of traffic, before being hit by a car.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and no one else was hurt, police said.
The Lansing Police Department tells FOX 47 News the victim had been drinking before the accident occurred.
