EAST LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing will be closing Albert Avenue from Division Street to Bailey Street on Monday, May 20.
Construction crews will be installing new sewer leads for a new townhouse that is being built on Albert Avenue.
Vehicles headed into downtown East Lansing from eastbound and westbound Grand River and Albert avenues will be detoured to Division Street or Bailey Street.
The Bailey Parking Lot will remain open during the project and pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained at all times during business hours.
Albert Avenue is expected to reopen on Wednesday, May 22.
