EAST LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing announced Albert Avenue between Grove Street and Abbot Road will be closed to traffic on Friday, August 2.
The closure is so trees can be planting on the north side of the the roadway.
The closure will begin at approximately 7 a.m. and the westbound lane is slated to reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 2.
Pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
Vehicles headed westbound on Albert Avenue will be detoured to Grove Street.
