Drivers and uses of the River Trail beware - there will be intermittent River Trail closures between Potter Park Zoo and Aurelius Road beginning December 12.
The closures are supposed to last no more than five to ten minutes while crews cut and remove trees near the bridge over the Red Cedar River.
The tree removal is in preparation for replacing the bridge.
That's scheduled to take place next year.
Please be careful when traveling through this area and anticipate short delays while trees are being cut down.
