An accident Monday morning backed up traffic for a long time on 496 in Lansing.
Police and rescue were on the scene of the crash that happened during the morning commute on 496 Eastbound between Pennsylvania and Aurelius Roads.
Only one lane was open near the scene and traffic was backed up as far as Grand Avenue.
Police are investigating and we do not know at this time if there were any injuries.
