The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says a mother and daughter were involved in an off-road vehicle accident at a private home on Coats Road on Narrow Lake in Brookfield Township, on Tuesday July 4, 2017. The crash happened around 10:30 AM.
The driver of the off-road vehicle is a 53-year-old woman; she sustained non-life threatening injuries. Her 81-year-old mother was riding as a passenger, and died of her injuries.
The sheriff's office did not release any information about the women's identities, or if they were wearing helmets. Police say there is no indication of alcohol or drugs.
