AAA Michigan reports that the statewide average daily gas price has decreased compared to last week.
Michigan's current daily statewide average is about $2.92 per gallon, 49 cents more than this same time last year.
Compared to last week, metro Detroit's average daily gas price has also decreased to about $2.97 per gallon, 3 cents less than last week's average and 53 cents more than this time last year.
The lowest average gas price in Michigan can be found in the Grand Rapids/Muskegon/Holland area where it's about $2.82 per gallon. The highest average price can be found in the Ann Arbor area for the third week in a row where it's about $2.99 per gallon.
