WILLIAMSTON, Mich. — A family in Williamston just gave a 5 year old dog a new "leash" on life.
Last week the Eichler family, who was planning to adopt a younger dog, visited the Capital Area Humane Society and instantly fell in love with Myra (now Ezika).
Michelle Eichler said she suggests that everyone in the family meet a new pet prior to adoption, but they knew right away that Ezika was the one.
