LANSING, Mich. — New information this morning in the deadly dive boat fire in California.

FOX 47 learned one of the victims was a Michigan native.

The Associated Press reports 52-year-old Lisa Fielder was among the 34 people that died when a fire ripped through the boat early Monday morning.

According to her photography website, she moved from Dowagiac, MI, to Mill Valley, CA, to pursue her passion of being a nature photographer.

"The moment I picked up a camera, I realized that through the lens, I enjoyed creating and sharing images that reflect the way I absorb the grandeur of nature," Lisa wrote on her website. "Fascinated with elemental forms of natural phenomenon, I'm captivated by the rush and swell of water as it swirls around boulders, crashes upon the shore or tumbles down a waterfall."

Federal investigators are interviewing crew members that survived the fire.

One crew member reportedly tried to get inside to help passengers.
