Another big construction project could be coming to downtown East Lansing soon.
On Tuesday, a developer proposed to build a 10 story, 194 room "Graduate Hotel" on Grand River Avenue next to the People's Church.
Graduate hotels are a chain with 13 other locations in college towns across the country, including Ann Arbor.
If all goes as planned, construction will start next spring.
The hotel is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
