IONIA COUNTY, Mich. (WSYM) -- According to the Ionia Department of Public Safety, officers were dispatched to a structure fire at the intersection of M-21 and Stage Road at 2:18 a.m. Sunday.
The first officer to arrive on scene reported the site of the former Lower Bros. farming equipment building on fire on both floors on the east side.
The fire was eventually brought under control with the assistance of eight other fire departments. There were no reports of injuries.
Authorities are investigating what caused the blaze.
