The crash occurred Saturday at 1:37 pm at Mount Hope Road near Glenn Road in Waterloo Township.
Deputies found that the driver of a pickup truck, Thurmal Mays, an 80-year-old man from the Rives Junction area, was headed north on Mount Hope Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
