LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - An 8-year-old suffered burns Saturday night when a group of children poured gas onto a fire.
It happened in the 1600 block of Lyons Street in the City of Lansing around 4 p.m.
Lansing Police say 20% of the child's body has been burned.
The child was taken to a local hospital.
It's unknown where a parent or guardian were at the time of the incident.
Nothing else in the area caught on fire.
Lansing Police responded along with the Lansing Fire Department.
