LANSING, Mich. — A new McLaren Greater Lansing hospital raised it's first steel beam as part of construction Wednesday.
The hospital broke ground about six months ago for the new $450 million project.
The new healthcare system will bring healthcare to the South Lansing area to make healthcare easily accessible.
Construction for the nine-floor building will be completed by late 2021.
Patients will be able to use the new facility in 2022.
