Five juveniles are in custody after a carjacking in the Lansing Mall parking lot Thursday afternoon.
An 88-year-old man told Eaton County Sheriff's deputies that he had been carjacked in that parking lot and gave a description of his vehicle and the four juvenile suspects.
Shortly thereafter, Lansing Police found the car and were able to arrest two of the suspects, but two other suspects got away in the stolen car, according to a press release.
Early Friday morning, Eaton County deputies found the car at a Delta Township apartment complex north of the mall. The deputies arrested the two other suspects inside an apartment.
While the deputies were in the apartment making the arrest, they found a 15-year-old at the apartment who was suspected for attempted murder. They arrested the teen.
All of the suspects are juveniles, so names will not be released.
