The 2018 season at Eaton County Parks & Recreation is winding down and another great year at the ten county owned parks saw heavy participation and visitation from throughout the county, region and state.
Special events, corporate outings, reunions, disc golfers, nature enthusiasts, walkers and hikers, kayakers, fishers, and swimmer drew crowded parking lots throughout the parks. Fitzgerald and Lincoln Brick Parks near Grand Ledge as well as Fox Memorial Park near Potterville and Crandell Park outside Charlotte continue to offer park visitors with a wide array of opportunities as we continue to create “A Memorable Outdoor Experience.”
Annual passes for the 2019 calendar year are on sale now. New for 2019, passes will no longer be transferrable between vehicles within a household. Cost is $20 for Eaton County residents and $25 for nonresidents. For active older adults over the age of 60, Cost is $15 for Eaton County residents and $20 for nonresidents.
Daily passes are only $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Patrons are reminded motor vehicle entry fees are now in effect year around and are collected on the off-season via a self-pay honor system.
Annual passes are available for purchase at the gatehouses, when staffed, and the Eaton County Parks and Recreation Administrative office inside Fitzgerald Park (133 Fitzgerald Park dr. Grand Ledge, MI) , during regular business hours.
