2 men hurt in overnight stabbing in Lansing

The Lansing Police Department is investigating a stabbing that sent two men to the hospital Tuesday morning.

Police got a call of a reported stabbing around 2:15 a.m. in front of the Volunteers of America building located on North Larch Street.

The Lansing Police Department tells News 10 that two men were fighting over a woman when one of the men stabbed the other.

Another man nearby tried to break up the fight but ended up getting stabbed as well, police said.

The suspect ran off before police arrived on the scene.

Both male victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers brought in police dogs to track the suspect but the search turned empty and no arrests have been made at this time.
