2 Lansing firefighters hurt in motorcycle crash in west Michigan

MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — Two Lansing firefighters were injured after an SUV ran a stop sign and struck them while riding their motorcycles Saturday afternoon, according to the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office.

It happened in Muskegon County around 4:45 pm.

The SUV was going southbound on South Ravenna Road, went through the stop sign and collided with a total of three motorcycles, deputies said.

The motorcyclists were transported to Hackley hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was not hurt, the sheriff's office said.

The firefighters were off-duty at the time of the accident. Their current conditions are not being released at this time.
