Late Monday afternoon, Ionia Co. Sheriff's Deputies were on the scene of a two car accident.
It happened around 3:51 p.m. on E. Tuttle Rd. at Kelsey Hwy.
A woman from Lansing, 46, was driving a Honda Accord and did not stop at the stop sign on E. Tuttle.
A man from Saranac, 46, in a Chevrolet Silverado was headed northbound on Kelsey Hwy. when it struck the Honda.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
Assisting on scene were Ionia Department of Public Safety, Life EMS, Reed and Hoppes Towing and Ionia County Central Dispatch.
