A 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man have been arrested after a woman's body was found in a Flint-area motel room.
The Flint Journal reports that an employee of the motel in Mount Morris Township discovered the body Monday morning after other guests complained of an odor.
Police Chief Terence Green says the dead woman was 28 and that her body was hidden in the room. The woman's name and a cause of death were not released Tuesday.
Investigators believe she had been dead for a few days before her body was found.
Green says the two suspects were wounded Friday in a shooting at an area mobile home park. He adds that Friday's shooting was not related to the death of the woman found in the motel room.
