LANSING, Mich. — An event aimed at helping the military, both active and veterans and their families is scheduled to happen in Lansing.
The first annual Hero Fest is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, at Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing.
More than 70 organizers will be on-site to assist military and veterans with everything from education to employment and health care.
The event will even offer on-site childcare to ensure they can take full advantage of all opportunities at the event.
Lunch will also be provided to all veterans, active duty, and reserve members.
The event runs until 1 p.m.
