A 17-year-old from Ionia has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old.
Kyler Bogert was charged with one count of open murder, and bond was denied. If he is found guilty, Bogert could be facing life in prison.
The Ionia Department of Public Safety says the victim was stabbed in the neck after an altercation Monday afternoon. The victim's name has not yet been released, but police say he was from Ionia.
