Thursday Williamston Police took a person into custody in connection with threats made against the high school.
Friday Ingham County Prosecutors charged Jake Johnson with a felony count of "false report, or threat of terrorism."
Johnson is 17-years-old and is due back in court in May.
Neither the police nor the school superintendent are giving any details about the threat. They will say that there was no danger.
