Parents are seeking help in finding their teenage daughter who went missing from the Cadillac area.
Luke and Heidi Scanlon were on vacation in South Carolina when they lost contact with their 15-year-old daughter, according to the Cadillac news.
Leah Jo Scanlon was last seen around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, by a neighbor who was staying with her while her parents were out of state. Leah was last seen wearing a gray North Face jacket, and black Nike high tops. She is described as having long blonde hair, 5'8'', and 150 pounds.
Luke and Heidi Scanlon arrived in Grand Rapids Friday morning. Police have been notified, and they have issued a missing advisory. The Wexford Co. Sheriff's Office is treating the missing teen as though she's in danger, even though nothing indicates there was foul play. Her father believes she is in danger, and there is a reward for information leading to her whereabouts.Leah is a homeschool student. According to the Cadillac news there was no note left behind. However, her purse, house keys, and shoes were all gone.
