Kalamazoo shooting victim 14-year-old Abigail Kopf is expected to go home soon to Battle Creek.
The teen has spent six weeks at the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Abbie's parents posted on Facebook that Abbie will be released next Wednesday on April 20th.
Her mother says the teen is looking forward to home cooked meals.
Abbie's road to recovery is still a long one. She has to have surgery to replace part of her skull that is missing, she also has trouble moving her left arm, and still struggles with speaking. She also is still using a feeding tube, although her parents hope the teen will regain her appetite.
Abbie is one of two people who survived the shooting rampage on February 20, 2016. Six people died. Alleged shooter Jason Dalton is charged with six counts of murder.
