UPDATE: Mason crash leaves 4 injured

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office has released more information about a crash in Aurelius Township at the intersection of Eifert and Columbia Road that left four people injured.

A vehicle traveling south on Eifert Road ran a stop sign, and crashed into a second vehicle that was on Columbia Road. The driver of the southbound vehicle is a 39-year-old man from Holt who was seriously injured in the crash. A 10-year-old girl was a passenger in his car and is in critical condition from her injuries.

The second vehicle was driven by a 21-year-old woman from Charlotte who sustained serious injuries. The passenger in her car is a 24-year-old man from Charlotte who had minor injuries.

All of the people involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The accident is being investigated by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office, and they were assisted at the scene of the crash by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team.

A 10-year-old girl and her father are in the hospital after a car crash at the intersection of Columbia and Eifert Roads near Mason.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Department tells us the father ran a stop sign and collided with an SUV. 

Both of their conditions are unknown at this time. Police are still investigating the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
