1 hospitalized in weekend shooting in Jackson

JACKSON, Mich. — Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

Jamarion Richardson was found in the road at the corner of Adrian and Morrell in Jackson on Sunday morning.

Police say he was shot several times

They say that Richardson told them he was at a party and heard gunshots, and knew he was shot. He added that he didn't see who shot him and doesn't know why anyone would.

Police say there were about 100 people at Adrian Court for a party when the shooting occurred.

A witness told police that they saw Richardson in a fight with another man and that man shot him.

No arrests have been made and police do not have any leads on a suspect or suspects at this time.
