One person is dead, and another is in the hospital after a car hit their bicycle in rural Eaton County.
It happened on northbound Battle Creek Road near Cronk Highway at about 3:00pm Saturday afternoon, two miles northeast of the city of Bellevue.
Both victims were riding a tandem bicycle, when a car, also traveling northbound, hit them.
One of the cyclists died and the other was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office tells News 10 they do not believe drugs, alcohol or speed are a factor in the crash.
