You can join Jackson's finest Wednesday morning for a cup of coffee and conversation.
Officers from Michigan State Police, the Jackson Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety will be taking part in a "Coffee with a Cop" event.
The event lets people get a chance to get know their local officers.
The event starts at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Junkyard Dog on West Michigan Avenue.
