The "Volunteers of America" was helping out military veterans in Lansing today.
It held the15th annual "Capital Area Stand Down for Homeless Vets" event at Riverfront Park.
53 different agencies were set up there to help vets get everything from health screening and benefits assistance to haircuts and housing.
