Jen Sincero's 3 Tips to Be a Badass with Your Cash

We learn a lot of important stuff from our parents like how to tie our shoes, or count to ten. We also learn how to think about money and sometimes those lessons have us paying the price for the rest of our lives. To help break that cycle Jimmy Rhoades got some life changing advice from Jen Sincero, bestselling author of You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth. Here are her three tips to have a better relationship with your cash.

1.  Write a Letter to Money

Let your money know that you care about it and want more of it. Also, that you trust it's going to hang around. The point is this letter just might reveal hidden feelings.

2.  Watch Your Mouth

Be aware of what you are talking about when it comes to money. The more you say something negative about it, the more you start believing in it. Instead try saying something like, "Money can empower me to do good in the world."

3.  Check Your Friends

Making a big change might mean a new group of people you are close with. Being around friends that are like-minded is key to success.
