If you're in the comfort of your home wondering just how serious the "Bomb Cyclone" has been, one Northern Michigan driver has photo proof.

While driving along the Mackinac Bridge, a chunk of ice fell from nearly 200 feet, shattering the front window of Shawn Thomas' Ram truck.

Thomas, who lives near Traverse City, was crossing the bridge Sunday morning, heading to Mackinaw City when the incident happened. He says seven other cars were hit by ice, but his vehicle had the most extensive damage.

The Mackinac Bridge was closed Sunday morning because of the falling ice and reopened in the early afternoon.
