The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ethics announced Monday that Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib is being reviewed after complaints were received.

A statement from Chairman Theodore E. Deutch and Ranking Member Kenny Marchant was released Monday afternoon. It's noted in the statement that the review itself doesn't indicate any violation has happened.

The Committee will announce its next action on or before Nov. 14.

Tlaib's team released a statement in response to the review saying, “As the Ethics Committee made clear, the fact that it received a referral does not mean any violation occurred. Representative Tlaib has cooperated completely with the Committee to resolve the referral, which involves the same claims over her publicly disclosed salary during the campaign that conservative groups pressed back in March. Representative Tlaib fully complied with the law and acted in good faith at all times.”
