Mowing grass can be such a chore. So, why not let a robot do it for you?

Honda recently announced it will begin selling the Miimo in the United States. It’s basically a Roomba for your lawn -- except instead of cleaning, it’s trimming.

The company says the automated Miimo works using a microcomputer, timer and 360 degree sensors. Those sensors reportedly keep the Miimo from, say, running over your foot or a small dog.

There are three cutting modes: random, directional or mixed and there are a couple of different models for varying lawn sizes, according to the company.

Just to give you an idea: the Miimo HRM 310 model, Honda says, can cut up to a half acre and has a suggested retail price of about $2,500.

The company says the Miimo will be available in June at select Honda Power Equipment dealerships.
